Pros: Really cool class.
Cons: Not much 1-on-1 attention.
He shows you a move once and expects you to get it.
This was a really fun class. You learn how to throw people all over the place. However, I wasn't the biggest fan of Sheehan. He's very rude, and doesn't understand why you don't understand one of the throws.

Easy 4.0. I noticed he was very creepy towards the girls in the class tho, and some of his T.A.'s would hit on them. Overall very knowledgeable and understanding but a little weird.

Judo helped me understand my body a lot. I understand how I move and also how to control other people's bodies around me, even if they are a lot bigger then me. I feel more comfortable in my skin thanks to sensei. He's kind of out there but this is a well worth while class.

He's a real friendly guy and looking to help anyone who wants to be helped. and he teaches people with disabilities so that was really cool to see. i recommend the class to anyone looking to have a good time and get a little exercise.

I would recommend taking this class with Sensei Sheehan. I really enjoyed it and he allows you to put in as much effort as you want and certainly take another judo class if he is teaching. The TAs and assistant instructors were extremely helpful. That being said, he will not learn your name unless you go to club a lot, and while he personally was not very creepy towards woman, some of his TA's are.

class was fun and interesting, the setup of the class was put together nicely (you can go to the msu judo webpage and it tells you everything). not sure why people thought he was creepy. he was very helpful and if you missed any classes you can make it up by going to the club. overall I would say judo is worth taking. also, the assistants an TA's were very nice and helpful

I ended up dropping this class because I had some joint issues. He is a nice guy and stuff, but he's really creepy towards women. I felt very uncomfortable around his, and his tonails were long and yellow. He smelled weird too. He called the girls names like sweetpea, which I found to be very unprofessional of a man teaching in a Dojo.
I recommend judo, just not with him. Take a class somewhere else.
His assistants were nice, so were the TA's.

the class was interesting, but he is a little creepy towards the women and he smells like cigarettes and cologne. i'd recommend taking judo though, you can learn a lot of ways to flip people

Didn't really teach all that well, I mean it basically was a crash course in judo, but overall a nice guy, you just don't interact very much.
