Job Description
The Digital & Social Media Specialist supports the Communications department in executing the organization's visual storytelling, digital content, and social media strategy. This role is evenly split between social media strategy and execution and media production in support of the organization's ongoing communications workload, projects, and campaigns.
The Specialist is responsible for creating and capturing high-quality digital and print assets, including photography and video, that bring programs, worship, events, and the building experience to life across platforms.
Working across departments, the Specialist ensures that all materials produced - including graphics, video, social content, and signage - are cohesive, visually compelling, and aligned with Emanu-El's tone and brand voice. The role plays a key part in maintaining a consistent and engaging presence across digital, print, and in-building communications, while leading and growing the organization's social media channels and digital reach.
